Our development team conquer Welsh Three Peaks for charity
They’re more used to drawing up plans for new homes than scaling peaks. But in 24 hours a group of our Development staff conquered the Welsh Three Peaks and raised more than £3,000 for our 60 for 60 challenge.
They clocked up some serious steps – 17 miles of mountain walking – and some amazing views along the way as they started on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), moved to Cadair Idris and ended on Pen y Fan as the sun set.
They joined one of our contractors Castlemead Group Ltd for the challenge, which is part of a fundraising campaign we launched this year to celebrate our 60th anniversary of providing affordable homes.
The money they raise will be shared between our four staff charities MND Association Cerebral Palsy Cymru Parkinson’s UK in Wales Cymru Versus Arthritis.
