Coronavirus symptoms and booking a test
Please continue to follow Welsh Government guidance around social distancing, washing hands regularly and meeting other households.
You must self-isolate if you develop any of the following coronavirus symptoms:
a new continuous cough
a high temperature
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste (anosmia)
Everyone in Wales with symptoms can book a coronavirus test
If you or anyone in your household are showing symptoms of the virus, please make sure you inform us when you are reporting your repair so we can take all the necessary precautions.
Face coverings
Our safety protocols do not require staff or residents to wear face masks unless they will need to work within 2 metres of each other and this is based on our assessment of risk and the guidance from Welsh Government. If you would prefer staff to wear a face covering when visiting you in your home then please let them know.
Our staff and visitors are asked to wear a face covering when in indoor communal spaces like corridors and it is strongly recommended that you do too in these areas to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.
Face coverings are mandatory in indoor public spaces in Wales, like shops. Under 11s and people with health conditions are exempt. Please follow Welsh Government rules and guidance.
Three-layer face coverings are compulsory for everyone travelling on public transport in Wales . This includes buses, trains and taxis.
The most effective way to protect yourself and others from infection is still to follow social distancing rules, avoid touching surfaces and your face, and wash your hands regularly, as outlined in Welsh Government advice.
The updated advice on face coverings applies only to people who are asymptomatic. Anyone with symptoms of coronavirus should be self-isolating.
