About this development
We are working with our long-term development partners Jehu Construction to bring 72 apartments for rent to the popular seaside town of Barry.
Built in 2 blocks of 4 and 5 storeys with lift access, the scheme will regenerate part of the town’s Dockside area.
Each block will contain a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom, modern, energy-efficient apartments.
Work started on site in spring 2019 and is due for completion summer 2021.
A popular tourist town, Barry is famous for its funfair, beaches and the TV comedy series Gavin & Stacey.
With one of the fastest growing housing markets, there is an acute shortage of affordable homes to rent in the town.
The development will continue to modernize Barry Waterfront which has a range of supermarkets, shops, schools, libraries and other essential services. The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s offices are close by as are train and bus links making it a highly sustainable location for our residents
For queries about the construction of this scheme please contact Waterstone Homes at customer.care@waterstonehomes.com. For any further queries regarding the scheme please email development.queries@wwha.co.uk
When completed these properties will be allocated according to the Vale of Glamorgan County Council’s Homes4U Housing Register. To apply for a home in the Vale of Glamorgan you need to join the Common Housing Register via the local Council.
