About this development

We are working with our long-term development partners Jehu Group to develop 50 flats for rent at the site of the former Three Brewers pub and car sales garage at Colchester Avenue in Cardiff.

The scheme will be built in two connecting blocks of 4 and 5 storeys, with each block containing a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom, modern, energy-efficient apartments. The scheme will also include a ground floor retail store, as well as car parking, bike stores and outdoor communal amenity space for residents.

Location
What does the area have to offer?

Colchester Avenue is located in the popular area of Penylan and just a short bus ride to the city centre. Nearby Newport Road is home to a variety of shops and supermarkets. There are many supermarkets nearby including Aldi, Lidl and Sainsbury’s.

Next to the development is a mix of smaller shops at Lady Margaret Court and a short walk brings you to the popular Albany Road/Wellfield Road which includes various small independent shops, High Street names, cafes, restaurants, banks, health facilities and Penylan library and community centre.

There are a number of Welsh and English medium Primary and Secondary schools within the catchment area. There is a bus stop close to the site along Colchester Avenue with regular services to the city centre and other locations within Cardiff.
