About this development

We are working with our long-term construction partners T Richard Jones (Betws) Ltd to create 18 new homes for affordable rent in the Johnstown area of Carmarthen.

The development is a mix of one-bedroom apartments, 2 and 3-bedroom houses and a specially adapted bungalow and is being built on the site of the former Tawelan care home, on the junction of Job’s Well Road and Ash Grove.

The new homes are designed to be energy efficient, well-insulated and affordable for residents to run and heat.

Work started on site in September 2020 and is due for completion at the end of 2021.
