​From your initial induction through to a programme bespoke to your role we train and support you to do a great job

  • A bespoke induction programme ensures new employees are not only appropriately integrated and supported during their first months of employment but that their career is developed through a performance development system which provides regular feedback and support

  • Employees are supported and encouraged to attend regular learning and development opportunities and all roles have a specific learning and development programme to ensure relevance. Line managers are further trained to support and develop their people

  • A variety of learning activities are available from classroom facilitated learning, to e-learning and on-the-job training

  • In 2015 we co-ordinated 50 training days per month across a range of learning activities, on average each member of staff attended 5 training activities and we supported learners in 240 different topics. These included core skills training to those that improve technical ability, and, those that enhance behavioural skills to leadership and management opportunities.
