​From your initial induction through to a programme bespoke to your role we train and support you to do a great job

  • A bespoke induction programme ensures new employees are not only appropriately integrated and supported during their first months of employment but that their career is developed through a performance development system which provides regular feedback and support

  • Employees are supported and encouraged to attend regular learning and development opportunities and all roles have a specific learning and development programme to ensure relevance. Line managers are further trained to support and develop their people

  • A variety of learning activities are available from classroom facilitated learning, to e-learning and on-the-job training

  • In 2011 we co-ordinated 269 topics across a range of learning activities. These included core skills training to those that improve technical ability, and, those that enhance behavioural skills to leadership and management opportunities
